Qingdao New Energy Solutions Inc. (NESI), located in Qingdao, is a leading provider for BIPV and agricultural integrated PV solutions in China. With about 200 technology patents and more than 1200 employees in the engineering technology management and production team, possessing an industrial park which covers about 700 mu and a solar ecological agriculture demonstration base 9000 mu, NESI has the one-stop service capability of project developing, planning, designing, module production, project management and power station operation. NESI took the lead in constructing distributed rooftop PV power system in 2010. Till the end of 2014, it has integrated about 50 plant rooftops of large-scale enterprises including Haier and Hisense, and constructed 230MW distributed rooftop PV power station. In addition, NESI made innovations in the comprehensive utilization model of ¡°agricultural and technological PV greenhouse¡± in 2011. Till the end of 2014, about 400MW greenhouse station had started constructing, which covered agricultural park more than 10000 mu. Agricultural and technological PV greenhouse has become the leader of PV agriculture in China. NESI has the top-ranking planning, design, management ability and experience of PV agricultural park. It has developed five generations, more than20 types of optimum type greenhouse which can allocate optimum type greenhouse scientifically and achieve the perfect combination of photovoltaic power generation and agriculture according to different regions, and different needs of different plants for light and temperature. At present, NESI has formed four PV greenhouse technology systems of edible mushrooms, tea, colorful nursery stock and special vegetables, and has developed industrial chain operational capability of breeding, planning, logistics and sale. In the respect of scientific research, our company based on HSGE modern agricultural research institute, PV edible mushrooms national industrial alliance, and the researchcenter of PV agricultural engineering technology, combined with Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Israel National Agricultural Research Institute, Holland, Taiwan and dozens of scientific research institutions in domestic and overseas, customized high value-added planning and technology. NESI PV agricultural greenhouse project has already implemented in Shandong, Tianjin, Hebei, Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, Zhejiang Province, Yunnan, etc. In 2015, NESI will build PV greenhouse power station 500MW, and the total planning area will be more than 30,000 mu.
