Nevada Railroad Materials, Inc. (NRM) has been in business since 1993. The owners, Bob Ollendick and Tom Ollendick have a combined 70+ years of experience in the railroad materials business. We operate rehab tie plants in Tucson, AZ, Grand Island, NE, and Ogden, UT for Union Pacific Railroad and preplate ties for Union Pacific in North Little Rock, AR. We transload material from both trucks and railcars, install concrete/wood ties to finished grade, crush concrete railroad ties, and do track removal for various contractors throughout the USA. We work with many Short Line railroads and have had many different service contracts with transit railroad contractors. As examples, we have worked on the Pasadena Blueline, Port of Los Angeles, Port of Long Beach, Regional Transit District - Denver, Frontrunner - Salt Lake City, Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART), Santa Fe, New Mexico Railrunner, and Tri-Rail - Florida. We also were a subcontractor on the Panama Canal Railroad Rehab - Panama, Central America.
