Newcastle International Airport is run as a public private partnership between seven local authorities in the North East region and AMP Capital. They fly direct to around 80 destinations and access a wider global network through hub airports like Heathrow, Paris CDG, Amsterdam, Brussels and Dubai. The municipality was founded in 1838 and is based in Newcastle Upon Tyne, United Kingdom.
