Newlight Technologies is a biotechnology company producing advanced sustainable materials. Its mission is to replace oil-based plastics with AirCarbon on a global scale, using carbon that would otherwise go into the air to replace oil, and reducing the amount of carbon in the air on a market-driven basis. It was founded in 2003 and headquartered in Irvine, California.
