circular design philosophy 🌳🌎♻️ the footwear industry sells 20+ billion shoes per year. more than 90% of these shoes end up on the worlds landfills, piling up a mass of waste that can’t be re-used because these shoes are simply not designed to be fully recyclable. and the greenhouse gases emitted to produce them are through the roof. the footwear industry stands for 1.4 % of the worlds emissions. we can’t accept that’s just how it’s done. not anymore. so we set out to change it. we’re just one company. one movement toward a better world. when you walk a mile in these shoes, you take the movement forward. you make waves. and you inspire new movements.
