Newronia

Newronia is a Technologic Based Enterprise founded in 2011 as a result of the activity in the eXiT research group of Universitat de Girona. The eXiT research group is multidisciplinary. Its basic research focuses on artificial intelligence techniques, such as heuristic search, data mining and knowledge discovery, qualitative reasoning, case based reasoning and auctions. Its research is applied to solving optimisation problems, process monitoring and resource allocation (scheduling) in several fields, determined by the projects, national as well as international, where the group participates. The increasing demand of projects related to optimisation and the successful results obtained so fare by the group led to the creation of Newronia.
