In addition to contract manufacturing, we also offer the following services: Laser marking of plastic or metal--we have one of the biggest laser marking machines, allowing us to mark large items such as medical instruments and panels. Sheet metal work--Nextus has a modern, flexible sheet metal and engineering facility capable of high volume, small batch and one-off production to meet BS EN ISO 9001 standards. Our in-house tool making facility is able to produce every tooling requirement to support production, ranging from simple bending, up to 4kW laser cutting, folding, welding and punching tools to plastic injection moulds. General machining—Nextus’ state-of-the-art machinery includes a 4kW Laser Cutter, a CNC Lathe with "C" Axis, 4-Axis CNC Milling, CNC Wire Eroding. Using Auto-CAD, we can perform simple milling and drilling work, cut shapes, components and any electrically-conductive material to enable us to produce prototypes or make tools. We own a chemical processing plant that allows us to produce printed circuit boards. We assemble and test and burn-in, as well as handle the procurement of raw materials or consignment. We also manufacture SIMM, SIP, DIP, ZIP and VDIP products. From thru-hole to surface mount, from cable assembly to mechanical assembly, Nextus can meet your circuit board manufacturing needs. EMC (Electro Magnetic Compatibility) testing is also conducted to ensure that electronic products will not interfere with the operation of other electronic equipment and to see if these products are susceptible to outside influences. Positive test results generally result in UL, CE or other types of certifications for a product.
