National Fiber Technology

Originally founded in 1979, National Fiber Technology was given a makeover in 2001 under the new ownership of Kim Clark and Fred Fehrmann. With them they bring more than 50 years combined experience in the art of textile design, costuming, set design and theme park styling. Kim & Fred bring an undeniable expertise to this well established company. After blowing the dust off the old fur-making machines 10 years ago, NFT is now a recognized powerhouse in the manufacture of custom-made specialized performance fur fabrics, hair and wigs used by the entertainment market for movies, television, theme parks, theater and special effects. Their products can be seen on the backs of the Grinch, King Kong, The Energizer Bunny, The Cat in the Hat, and the monsters in Where The Wild Things Are. NFT's specialized performance fur fabric can also be seen in Disney Parks, Universal Studios parks and Schlitterbahn Water Parks worldwide just to name a few. In addition, NFT is the go-to resource for taxidermists, costumers, museums, mascot creators and puppeters.
