Nichols Electric Supply

Nichols Electric was founded in 1998 by brothers John and Jim Nichols when they acquired Breivogel Electric Supply in Haubstadt, Indiana. Prior to the acquisition, they had a combined experience in the electrical distribution industry of 31 years. Since then, they have added another 38 years of experience, totaling 69 years in the industry. As the business grew, they moved from Haubstadt to Evansville in 2003, constructing a new state of the art building with 31,000 square feet. The new building offers a heated warehouse equipped with a drive through area to load customers' and delivery trucks in a warm, dry, clean and well-lit environment. Nichols Electric takes great pride in maintaining a clean warehouse and counter area, and as a result continues to receive positive feedback from customers and vendors. The Nichols Electric fleet includes 2 stake bed trucks (1 with a lift gate), 2 pickups, 4 vans, 3 semi-trailers and 2 sea-cans. Delivery trucks leave the shop at 9:00 am and 1:00 pm (CST) daily, Monday through Friday. This allows customers to better manage their jobs and personnel as they can count on having their product from Nichols Electric within a 3 or 4 hour window as opposed to an 8 hour window from the competition. Nichols Electric also offers job-site trailers equipped with shelving along with managed inventory for large job sites. Nichols Electric sets itself apart from the competition by the level of service it provides and by servicing all aspects of the industry from residential and commercial to industrial and government facilities. Nichols Electric keeps a large inventory on hand and has a seasoned sales staff to accommodate all of our customer's needs.
