NICOR Lighting

NICOR was formed in the early 1980's in order to fulfill a need for ceiling fans within the Lighting Showroom niche of the lighting market. Working closely with designers and product specialists, NICOR was the first company to introduce the "Uni-Pack" concept of having the fan, blades, and light kit all in one package. This new concept makes the direct purchase and installation by homeowners much simpler and opened the door to new markets and customers. The NICOR products were very well received around the country. The product specifications, style, and marketing programs were readily accepted by Lighting Showrooms across the country. Starting with only 6 items in it's initial product offering, NICOR now offers over 2000 products including Ceiling Fans, track lighting and recessed lighting. In 1995 NICOR obtained the ISO 9002 qualification and was the first Ceiling Fan Company in the United States to do so. This means that NICOR has a proven system in place to control and monitor our processes and procedures in order to ensure that we are providing quality products and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. In fact, the growth of the company has been steady and consistent in large part due to its reputation for excellent customer service and exceedingly high quality standards. Today NICOR products can be found in your local lighting showrooms and are available through distributors and contractors alike. NICOR now advertises in many magazines, flyers, and trade publications and has even opened a 2,400 square foot showroom at the Dallas Market Center in order to display its entire product line to representatives and others in the field.
