Niles District Library is seeking a leader for our Information and Readers' Services (IRS) Team. As part of the library's Leadership Team, the IRS Team Leader contributes to setting goals and developing plans that fulfill our mission and move us toward our vision. The IRS Team Leader coaches and supervises a team of 3 FTE employees. This is a full-time position that requires four years of relevant work experience in a library setting or a bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Preferred qualifications include a Masters in Library Science from an ALA accredited institution. Benefits include health insurance, vacation, sick leave and participation in Michigan Municipal Employees Retirement System (MERS). Starting pay is $31,200 - $34,125 without MLS or $35,100-$38,025 with MLS. University of Notre Dame, Andrews University, Lake Michigan College and Southwest Michigan College are all within twenty miles. We are also less than a thirty-minute drive from the beaches of Lake Michigan.
