Malone Golf Club is a prestigious private members' club situated 5 miles from Belfast city centre. We are currently seeking a Mechanic to join our team. As a senior member of the team you will ideally have the following skills and attributes: Proven skills in the management of the workshop in order to maintain the Clubs fleet to a high standard. Ability to manage and control stock, negotiate and implement a service schedule. To assist and suggest forward programmes concerning the course machinery and maintenance budgets whilst working to a currently agreed budget. The ability to use your own initiative to create solutions to ensure continuity of work. Oxy-acetylene operations Ark welding Good communication skills to work effectively as part of the team. Good working knowledge of Health & Safety requirements. The work has a high physical requirement. Stamina and good health are essential. Hold a valid UK driving licence. The Club has invested annually in its Machinery and Equipment in order to maintain a modern and reliable fleet. This has included in recent years, Bernhard grinding equipment. A competitive salary is available for the successful candidate, dependant on experience and qualifications.
