Niran BioChemical Limited, shortly NiranBio, is a food ingredient and chemicals supplier specialised in purchasing, inspection of factories, warehousing and the logistics needed to buy these products. NiranBio was founded in 1998 under the name Protex International. In 2010, NiranBio co-invested in a citric acid factory in Thailand, Niran (Thailand) Co. Ltd., and became as a consequence a main shareholder of the Niran Holding Group. To emphasize the relationship between the different parts of the holding group, Protex International became Niran BioChemical Limited in 2013. In 2014, another company became part of this the Niran Group: Niran Europe, our European office and warehouse. The investment in the factory allowed NiranBio to widen its product portfolio and propose new solutions according to its customer's requirements. The environmentally-friendly factory runs on bio fuel and uses only non-GMO corn and cassava, to produce top-notch citric acid and citrate products. Protecting the environment is an important part of our corporate responsibility, and so is the social security of our employees.
