New Orleans African American Museum
Established in 2000, the mission of the New Orleans African American Museum of Art, Culture and History (NOAAM) is "to preserve, interpret and promote the African American cultural heritage of New Orleans, with a particular emphasis on the Tremé community. Please excuse our appearance-The NOAAM's new website is under construction. The Museum is currently closed for renovation of its facilities. During the renovations phase, the Museum continues to provide Treme-based neighborhood walking tours.
