Nomad Global Communications Solutions, Inc. manufactures specialty vehicles for mission critical requirements of local, state, and federal emergency management personnel and first responders in the United States. The company offers NomadIC, a line of self propelled vehicles capable of inserting the incident commander and their staff close to the incident; NomadResponder vehicles for small agency emergency management applications, including mobile command posts, hurricane response units, disaster recovery units, mapping units, and amateur radio units; NomadDispatch, a line of smaller quick response trailers with multiple application possibilities ranging from radio communications to mobile health clinics; and Nomad Rapid, a quick response vehicle that can be equipped with multiple communication modules depending on agency needs. It also maintains a rental fleet of mobile command trailers for agencies who may not have the necessary resources on hand that are needed to respond to an incident. The company was founded in 2002 and is based in Columbia Falls, Montana.
