NorCal Golf Academy, Northern California's Golf Channel Academy was founded in 2010, with one simple objective; to make the best golf improvement facility in Northern California. We have over 5000 square feet located conveniently in Walnut Creek. With our advanced technology and highly trained instructors, NorCal Golf Academy provides Bay Area golfers with the best there is in golf instruction. We are able to measure every facet of the golfers motion, thus can focus on accurate and correct improvements to the golf swing. Other facilities may tout equipment that is similar, however, upon taking a closer look it fails miserably in comparison. Other facilities that utilize 3D motion capture only measure the pelvis and thorax, missing out on the critical point and that is to gather the players swing efficiency graph, the Kinematic Sequence. Other systems cannot measure the clubhead in 3D, hence missing out on critical impact data, so what the end user gets is a guess as to the correct fix. We believe that if you are not improving we are not doing our job. As is evident among the best players in the world, there is no one way to swing the golf club. There is, however, one efficient way for everyone to swing the golf club, and that is based on what the player's body can physically do. Most instructors and facilities have one method or approach to instruction that ignore the individual abilities and characteristics of each golfer. We recognize and appreciate individual styles and abilities and work with those to make everyone the best golfer they can be! The only thing in the golf swing that truly matters is what the player creates at impact. With that being said, NorCal Golf Academy instructors utilize a wide array of tools and philosophies to help each player reach their true potential. NorCal Golf Academy also utilizes the findings of the Titleist Performance Institute: the body's ability to perform certain motions directly impacts the style each golfer uses to efficiently swing the golf club.
