Norman High School
In 1984, seventy-eight community leaders made a commitment to the educational future of Norman Public School's children by establishing the Norman Public School Foundation. Created to supplement state and local funding, the Foundation has now awarded over 1 million dollars for the Grant-To-Teachers program to enhance academic experiences. The Foundation has awarded over 2,500 classroom grants to hundreds of innovative teachers in every school in our district. From elementary to the high school level, classroom grants have enhanced learning for thousands of Norman students during their academic careers. The Foundation has also awarded 66 staff development grants to certified personnel for professional growth opportunities. All of us share in the responsibility of preparing our students for the 21st Century. Our children face many challenges. Parents, schools, and the community working together will better ensure the success of our students. Your support of the Foundation's endowment fund means greater academic opportunities for students today, and well into the future.
