It is our goal at North Ogden Animal Hospital to provide the most compassionate and competent care possible for our patients. We have been serving the greater Ogden area since 1987. Our doctors and support team will always stay current on the highest quality medicine and treatments available, with emphasis on exceptional client services. We will strive to celebrate the human-animal bond and recognize it's importance in society. To this end, our patients will always be treated as if they were our own pets: with dignity, compassion, and respect. Making your appointment ahead of time allows us to schedule an appropriate time so we can better meet your needs. When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted warmly by one of our receptionists who will check you in and get basic information about your pet. Please ensure that your dog is on a leash and your cat is in a carrier. If you suspect that your pet has a contagious disease (coughing, sneezing, vomiting, or diarrhea) please inform our receptionist so we can place you in an exam room as soon as possible. If you have medical records from a previous veterinary facility, please bring them with you. ​We try to see all of our clients and patients on time, and although we have contingencies for emergencies, there will be times when the unexpected will create delays. Please know that in the event of a delay, we will make every effort to keep you informed about the length of the delay and get back on schedule. You will normally see a veterinary technician in the exam room first, who will take a history and gather some information for the doctor. The veterinarian will see you next and perform a complete physical exam, answer your questions, and plan further diagnostics or treatments as necessary. The technician will then discuss any medications needed, answer any routine wellness and care questions and go over any home care information with you. When your appointment is finished, they will walk you to our reception area and the receptionist will check you out and schedule follow up appointments as necessary.
