Notaro Care Homes is a family owned business which was originally founded in 1984 by Managing Director, Mr Nunzio Notaro and his wife Constance. Throughout the years we have extended our range of services, the types of care we provide and built beautiful purpose-built dementia homes. Our portfolio has grown steadily and with it our reputation. We are extremely proud to be regarded as a leading provider of quality care in the southwest of England by fellow healthcare professionals. We will continue to invest in future developments and strive for delivering quality care which is 'All about you'. At Notaro Care Homes we are constantly seeking new ways to improve the lives of people in our care homes. New innovations include state of the art technology such as nurse call systems, which notify us if someone is out of bed during the night. It also illuminates the room gradually, so as not to startle or alarm our residents. We have 2 farms which are home to animals and smaller pets at our nursing dementia homes in Langport and Martock. We have also worked closely with Somerset County Council (Community Directorate) and NHS Foundation Trust (Somerset Partnership) in a pilot projectto provide residential rehabilitation for adults of working age with a mental health diagnosis in Taunton. The latest addition to our care homes is La Fontana Nursing Dementia Home at Martock in South Somerset. The home features a living, ecologically friendly sedum roof, impact absorbing rubber pathways, three ponds, a beautiful fountain and a petting farm for the residents and their visitors to enjoy. The residents are the most important people in our homes. All of our residents are treated as individuals and are encouraged and supported in continuing to take their own decisions. We offer a choice of purpose built and traditional homes caring for a wide range of needs. Our modern homes offer luxurious surroundings with the highest standards of decor and facilities.
