Notre Dame Academy High School
Notre Dame Academy is an equal opportunity educational institution in the administration of educational policies, admission policies, or any school administered programs. Female students of any color, race, or religion are accepted. Pre-Kindergarten admission is based on age. Girls must be four years old before December 1st. An informal screening and parent interview are held at the time of application. Kindergarten applicants must be five years old before December 1st and formal testing and interviews are required. Application for Grades 1 through 8 requires review of recent standardized testing results and report cards; results of tests administered by NDA in reading, math, and language arts; presentation of an acceptable writing sample; and candidate and parent interviews. The State of New York requires every child entering school for the first time to have a complete physical examination and to show proof of immunization from communicable diseases. This information must be on file for every child. From Pre-Kindergarten through grade five, there is one class on each grade level. From grade six through eight there are two classes on each grade level.
