Nova Banka
The Bank offers a wide portfolio of traditional banking services (including different types of loans, documentary business, deposits and savings, payment transactions and money transfer, foreign exchange operations, etc.), but also performs a large number of primarily non-banking activities such as brokerage operations, custodian operations, factoring and forfeiting. The organizational structure of the Bank consists of: Head Office in Banja Luka, which is located in a modern and contemporary building, owned by the Bank, in the center of the city, where the core banking functions are established, and 58 other organizational units, i.e. 12 branch offices, Branch Office for trade in securities "Broker Nova", 13 sub branch offices, 19 separate counters and 13 agencies. A larger number of organizational units of the Bank is located in the Republic of Srpska, while a slightly smaller number is located in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. All organizational units are the Bank's distribution channels of products to customers, who are primarily retail and SME clients, and secondarily a large corporate clients. As an established market player, the Bank has been recognized as a very interesting and attractive employer, and as of 31 December 2015 the Bank had 670 employees. Corporate culture of the Bank resulted in a high degree of loyalty and highly motivated employees who work in 59 organizational units. The Bank has a good level of liquidity, solvency and profitability, as well as capital adequacy above the minimum required by law. Since November 2002, the Bank has been listed on the Banja Luka Stock Exchange of Securities (hereinafter: Banja Luka Stock Exchange), and since June 2009 it constitutes one of the 6 shares, the only one from the financial sector, according to which the BH index which is published in Vienna Stock Exchange is calculated. The Bank's shares are traded on a daily basis at the Banja Luka Stock Exchange and in that sense they are very liquid shares. The nominal value of one share of the Bank amounts to 1.00 BAM. Shareholders' equity of the Bank amounts to 104,204,656.00 BAM and it was formed through twenty five issues of securities. The Bank has a very distinguished diversification of ownership. On average, the Bank's shares are in the ownership of approximately 400 natural and legal persons. 80% of the shares are in the ownership of domestic natural and legal persons, which characterizes the Bank as a predominantly domestic Bank. However, the single largest shareholder is Adriatic Fund B.V. from the Netherlands with 7,66% of the shares of the Bank. In the last few years, the Bank has recorded a significant growth in all areas and segments, resulting in a high level of profitability compared to the banks operating in the market of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Bank has launched a large number of activities to differentiate and strengthen corporate identity, corporate social responsibility management and to implement corporate governance standards, which has been recognized and acknowledged by the community in which the Bank operates through very significant rewards.
