Nova FM

Staffed entirely by volunteers, some of themselves, members of this community, Nova FM aims to interact with the community of Newport and surrounding areas and give local people the chance to voice their opinions and have their say on local issues affecting them as well as others of the community. Our aim is to foster closer interaction and to promote 'Social-Cohesion' across all members of the community. In addition, we aim to apply for a full-time community radio license from the regulator, Ofcom when the next round of community license grants are advertised for this area, which is widely expected to be in the fourth quarter of 2013.
