The Alliance for the Arts is the official nonprofit fundraising arm of the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, located in Thousand Oaks, California. Funds raised by the Alliance are dedicated to supporting visual and performing arts and education within our community, ensuring that all have the opportunity to explore, experience and enjoy the wealth of talent, beauty and inspiration that the arts provide. This year we celebrate three decades of success for the unique public-private partnership between the City of Thousand Oaks and the Alliance for the Arts, twice lauded by the National Endowment for the Arts as the most successful public-private partnership of its kind in the United States. The Civic Arts Center enjoys more than 300,000 patrons annually, of whom 50,000 are children, and attend more than 400 performances each year.
