Dr. Koster, the other doctors and all of the staff at NY Vision Group are dedicated to providing the best possible eye care to our patients, helping them achieve the highest quality of vision available to them. We are committed to understanding each patient's health concerns, lifestyle needs and vision goals in order that we can help each patient realize those goals and lead a healthier, more fulfilling lifestyle. An important part of our mission is patient education. We want to ensure that each patient understands his or her particular eye condition, the treatment options available, and the potential outcomes, including both the benefits and the risks of any procedure. We also believe that educating patients about the ways in which they can help themselves achieve their vision goals (such as following pre-operative and post-operative instructions and generally living a healthier lifestyle) is a critical part of our mission. We strive to answer our patients questions in the office and to provide further resources (such as the Patient Education portion of our website) for patients before and after they leave the office.
