Founded in 1893 and based in Pictou, Nova Scotia, Advocate Printing and Publishing is a full-service printing company, providing quality printing, film, photography, design, research, direct mail and distribution services. In addition to its progressive commercial printing operation, Advocate owns and produces five weekly newspapers and several other publications throughout Nova Scotia.
