We use science to design better buildings. Our team has expertise in the design of roofs, walls, windows, and waterproofing to make sure the outside stays out and the inside stays in. We work closely with architects to deliver weather-tight, cost effective, energy efficient, warm, dry buildings. We evaluate products and designs based on their properties, characteristics, modelling, and test results rather than slick marketing or 3rd party appraisals. We let the data tell why some products are better than others. We believe good design shouldn't be restricted to an acceptable solution or the way it's always been done and challenge conventional NZ building practices to be better. Our understanding of building enclosure design goes far deeper than any other facade consultant. We understand more than just how to manage wind, water, and seismic forces. We considered thermal, vapour, light, heat, acoustics, condensation, and how those all interact to create buildings that out perform standard practice without a hefty price tag. We know New Zealand buildings can and should be built better and are driving innovation forward.
