The reliability and work quality of OFFI is proved by the title "NATO Supplier". Our Company places a special emphasis on secure data management. Based on the Site Security Certificate issued by National Security Authority, OFFI is entitled to manage and keep data qualified as "strictly confidential" at its premises, and electronically process data qualified as "restricted". Headquartered in Budapest, OFFI has four regional centres (Eger, Gyr, Pécs, Szeged), and the pertaining customer service points awaiting customers in 27 cities of the country. Pursuant to Decree No. 24/1986 (26 June) of the Council of Ministers on Translation and Interpretation and Decree No. 7/1986 (26 June) of the Minister of Justice on the Implementation thereof, attested translation, attestation of translations and making attested copies of foreign language source documents are the exclusive competence of OFFI. The decree further states that OFFI is in charge of providing interpretation for courts, prosecutor's offices and investigation authorities in Budapest. In 2011 OFFI performed the translation and interpreting tasks related to the EU Presidency, and thus proved the quality of its services. Our office also provides high-level interpreting services through experienced professionals, who speak several languages at mother tongue level. Apart from fulfilling the tasks falling within its exclusive competence, besides attested translation OFFI provides technical translation and revision services. In case of technical translations it is even more simple and cost-friendly to use our services through the electronic customer portal. We perform our services at high standards in a client-friendly manner with the help of almost 700 collaborators taking into account all customer requirements. Through our translators and editors we can provide adequate translations in all languages and all areas of specialization. The reliable and prudent work and data management are regarded as basic rules of the translator and interpreter profession. All our collaborators must make a declaration of confidentiality which will be strictly observed. In order to protect its customers, OFFI maintains professional liability insurance which is extended to the liability insurance of technical translators and interpreters for the compensation of possible and proved pecuniary damages.
