OKAMOTO GLASS CO., LTD. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of glass products and mirrors. The Company operates in four business segments. The Lighting segment offers head lens for automobiles, infrared filters for automobiles, lighting gloves, glass for mercury lamps, glass for signal lights, glass for vessels, color filters and others. The Optical segment offers reflecting mirrors for projection equipment, dental mirrors, fly-eye lenses, condensor lenses and others. The New Business segment offers band-pass filters, edge filters, beam splitters and others. The Others segment offers robot systems, glass for aircrafts, glass for airports, glass for washing machine and others. OKAMOTO GLASS has six subsidiaries. The Company merged with one of its subsidiaries on October 1, 2008.
