Olson Pediatric Clinic

Olson Pediatric Clinic is a unique pediatric practice located in Lake Oswego, founded by Dr. Donald Palmer in 1972. Our warm and caring atmosphere and approach to medicine ensure that we will spend the time needed to listen to, understand, and serve your family while offering evidence based healthcare to your children. We've built our practice so that our patients and their families are our top priority: We have office hours 364 days per year. We also offer evening appointments every weeknight. We are able offer longer appointments for more complex concerns, as needed. Our clinic has an on-site laboratory, which is open on weekdays from 9am to 5pm. There are additional basic lab tests we can do at any time. Our board certified pediatricians work with pediatric-trained RNs (registered nurses) instead of medical assistants. This ensures the highest quality professionals are available in each clinical and telephone encounter. When you call, you will not reach an automated answering phone tree, because our front office staff answers your phone calls. In fact, you are likely to recognize their voices as our staff is committed to the mission of our clinic and most of them have been part of our family for over 10 years. Our billing department is not outsourced or hidden in an office. The department is open and accessible, allowing you to talk face-to-face with our specialists. They are eager to answer your questions and help you interface with insurance companies. We are proud to have earned and maintained the designation of Oregon Patient-Centered Primary Care Medical Home since 2013. This means we are committed to using evidence based medicine, to excellence in preventative care, and to help families navigate a complicated medical system.
