Openbaar Ministerie

Openbaar Ministerie is the body of public prosecutors in the Dutch criminal justice system. It decides who has to appear in front of the judge and for which offense or crime. The main domain of the OM is criminal law rather than civil law. It was established in 1811 and is based in The Hague, Netherlands.
