Omelette Express
The Omelette isn't just a place to enjoy a great breakfast or lunch: it's a Sonoma County institution. If you live in Sonoma County chances are good you've been here and if you haven't, well, there's a good chance you will. 35 years of serving breakfast to the people of Sonoma County has had that effect on people. It all started back in 1977 when Nan Taylor was inspired to bring business to the then rough little Railroad Square area by opening a restaurant where she could serve up a great breakfast to the people of Santa Rosa. Having seen The Omelette through it's first ten years, Nan Taylor decided to retire and turned it over to the hands of son Don. That was back in 1987 and Don has been greeting customers at the front door ever since. 2007 marked yet another milestone in The Omelette's history, when we expanded our reach by opening our second location in Old Town Windsor, run by Don's wife Laura and son Travis. The Windsor Omelette serves up the same great breakfast and lunch as the original, all the while offering our north county customers a shorter drive to enjoy their favorite breakfast. Over the course of the past 35 years The Omelette has seen it's customers graduate high school and college, start exciting new careers, get married and start families of their own, all the while continuing to be a part of ours. Haven't yet been to The Omelette and wondering what the fuss is all about? Stop on by either one of our two locations and pay us a visit. You may well end up becoming a member of the family yourself.
