The library is open Thurs 27th Dec, Fri 28th Dec, and Sat 29th Dec before closing for New Year Mon 31st Dec and Tues 1st Jan. We wish you a happy, healthy New Year, with lots of good reading! We've been serving the people of Onchan and providing a library service for the local community since 1944. The library was proud to be renamed in honour of Harvey Briggs in 2015, and members of his family are pictured here with the Chairman of Onchan District Commissioners. Harvey Briggs Onchan Library is a friendly and welcoming place for book lovers of all ages. he library team are happy to help you find what you are looking for, or make recommendations for a good read. We offer Internet and Wi-Fi amongst our library services, and have regular displays and events going on throughout the year.
