With a highly intricate and multi-phased production process we strive to provide options for the man lost in beachwear purgatory. We use only the most skilled and innovative designers, source only the highest quality fabrics and finishings, and use factories that are on the cutting edge of manufacturing technology. Simple, yet carefully crafted to the most minute detail; durable, yet soft and supple from the moment you put them on; and stylish without being subject to the vagaries of seasonal fashions. Liberty of London is one of the oldest and most exclusive fashion houses in Europe. Founded in London in 1875 as an Oriental import emporium the store made a name for itself as purveyors of far-eastern fabrics of the finest quality; within a few years they began producing their own materials under the label Liberty Art Fabrics. In addition to their success as vendors they were a driving force in developing society's tastes, most notably acting as a leading light in the burgeoning Art Nouveau movement of the early 20th century. They are so well known for the part they played in this movement that Art Nouveau is still described as 'Stile Liberty' in Italy. After nearly 150 years in the business Liberty remains on the cutting edge of haute couture and we couldn't be more proud of our partnership. This relationship provides us access to their historical archives; we search this database, full of memorable designs immediately recognizable as styles that defined their respective eras. Upon finding appropriate designs, we recolor them and print them on Liberty's ultra-soft 100% brushed nylon swim fabric for use in our line.
