Ontario PC Party
The Ontario PC Youth Association, or OPCYA, is the corresponding youth association to the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario. The organization is a collection of PC activists between the ages of 14 and 28 in Ontario. OPCYA is committed to the growth and development of youth associations and campus clubs, the engagement of high school students, and outreach to youth at the riding level across Ontario. Our goal is to build better relationships with our youth movement and exchange bold new conservatives ideas with our peers and the general PCPO membership. We are also the parent organization of all riding-level PC youth associations. OPCYA's central body is composed of a ten elected executive members with two appointed executive members at large. There are also nine appointed regional vice presidents who serve on the OPCYA Organizational Committee and represent the youth members of their respective regions (similar to the PCPO Executive structure). Additionally, there is an OPCYA Policy Committee which produces policy papers and plans policy conventions. Finally, there is a Highschools Committee, which specifically caters to the interest of highschool students and getting them more involved with conservative activism within the party.
