OPHTEC was founded in 1983 by Mrs Anneke Worst-van Dam and her husband, ophthalmologist prof. Jan Worst (1925 - 2015). Jan Worst's inventions, such as the Artisan lens have changed ophthalmology forever. Today it is the company's Vision to design, produce and market clinically innovative ophthalmic products for patients and doctors, with a focus on perfection.
