OPTIMA Group

Optima Group is a Limited Liability Company for manufacturing and trading of petroleum and petroleum products, based in Banja Luka. The company was founded on 11/02/2008. The founder of Optima Group Ltd. is a Russian company "NeftegazInCor" JSC, which owns 100% of company's equity shares. Majority owner of the "NeftegazInCor" is "Zarubezhneft" JSC, a state-owned enterprise from Moscow, operating under "Nestro" trademark. "NeftegazInCor" is the majority owner of companies "Nestro Petrol" JSC Banja Luka, "Oil Refinery Brod" JSC and "Oil Refinery Modrica" JSC. The following companies are doing business under the "Nestro" trademark: OPTIMA Group, Nestro Petrol, Oil Refinery Brod and Oil Refinery Modrica. OPTIMA Group's business activities include the purchase of raw materials for petroleum products manufacturing at the Oil Refinery Brod, marketing of finished products on domestic and foreign markets, marketing of base oils manufactured at the Oil Refinery Modrica on the world market, as well as development and expanding of "Nestro" petrol station retail network in Bosnia and Herzegovina and nearby countries. Crude oil is processed at the Oil Refinery Brod, which is a key project of Nestro Group in Bosnia and Herzegovina, whose processing capacity amounted to 1 million tons per year in 2014. The ongoing investments and reconstruction works will result in annual production capacity reaching 4.2 million tons per year, with utmost compliance with all the quality and environmental protection standards. To date, investment volume into the Oil Refinery Brod amounted to 120 million euros, enabling manufacturing of diesel and gasoline products under high-quality European EURO-5 standard. After privatization, Oil Refinery Modrica commissioned a hydrocracked base oils manufacturing plant, resulting in 90,000 tons of base oil production volume, 90% of which was exported to the EU and other world markets. Oil Refinery Modrica has in recent years significantly improved the quality of motor oils and lubricants, which contributed to increasing of production and motor oil sales volumes by 30%, more than 60% of which is marketed on the export markets. The "Nestro Petrol" company, being the owner of 90 retail sale facilities (petrol stations), continues the planned expansion of its retail network, as well as marketing of Optima Group's products. Owing to 16 million euro-funding, invested into the reconstruction of the petrol station retail network, we now have modern petrol stations conforming to European standards. We plan to continue to expand the company's retail network and to complete reconstruction of the existing facilities, which is already underway.
