Orange County Democratic Party
On Saturday I was excited to be elected to a third term as chair of the Orange County Democratic Party. Thank you for the trust and support you've given me and the Party over the last five years. We have a lot of work to do over the next two years. As our first vice chair, Susan Romaine, said yesterday: Orange County Democrats don't just talk, they do. We're going to continue to do! We've got a great local team here in Orange County to do great things. Congratulations to our new slate of officers: First Vice Susan Romaine; Second Vice John Ferguson, Third Vice Nan Nixon, Secretary Matthew Pepper, and Treasurer Missy Biggers. I look forward to working with all of you! To our departing officers James Harris, Ann DeMaine, and Ann Henley - we all appreciate your service to the Party and look forward to continuing the fight alongside you! We will be calling on you to help with critical voter outreach both this year and next as we build a local coalition that will be strong and a be a key player in the statewide strategy. As I hear of who else were elected as county party chairs yesterday, like former state chair Betty Ray McCain and newly elected Wake County Chair Brian Fitzsimmons, I am know that we will the leaders in place to have a successful 2016 campaign.
