From the start, the firm set the goal to provide specialized services for the legal protection of intellectual property rights in Bolivia. In 1986, the daughter of Mr. Joaquin Soruco, Mrs. Pilar Soruco Etcheverry took over the direction of the firm. ORPAN is an active member of the International Trademark Association (INTA), the Interamerican Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI) and the Bolivian Association of Intellectual Property (ABPI), which was founded by Mr. Joaquin Soruco and, later chaired by Mrs. Pilar Soruco for four terms. Currently, ORPAN has the privilege of handling IP matters for prestigious companies, both from Bolivia and around the globe, specially matters regarding patent and trademark rights. © 2018 ORPAN
