Orpheus, Inc is an IT consulting firm that provides generalist IT consulting, with specializations in managing cloud and virtual server infrastructure, and creating custom orchestration tools. With orchestration, complex repetitive IT processes are automated so IT staff can be more productive. Our customers are small and medium sized businesses at all stages of cloud adoption. Orpheus, Inc. was founded in 2014 by Benjamin Portman after many years as an IT solutions architect. While working for a large enterprise, Benjamin was given responsibility for managing a VMware environment where repetitive tasks amounted to 20 man-hours per week of manual work. He knew there had to be a better way to complete these management tasks. He did his research and then proceeded to develop a set of Windows PowerShell scripts to interface with VMware and streamline these 20 hours of tasks. By the time Benjamin was through developing his first PowerShell orchestration tool, the 20 man-hours of management tasks were 100% orchestrated and only required human intervention for less than 15 minutes per week.
