Osborne Transformer is a modest and hardworking family-operated design business. We have been based in the Detroit area since 1932. We build exceptional transformers and inductors. One of Osborne Transformer's clients has been referring to an entire class of transformers as "Osbornes". We were proud when we heard about that; we knew we had established our name. That was over sixty years ago. Today the Osborne Transformer name represents the same values it has for the past eighty years: application specific products, design excellence and innovation.
