Owen Steel maintains a broad network of suppliers and vendors located throughout the world that enables us to purchase material and equipment for our customers on a timely and cost-effective basis. On specific projects, our Materials Management Department uses a proprietary bar-coding system to track every step of the fabrication process, from mill order through jobsite delivery. In addition, Owen Steel buys material and fabrication equipment for its own inventory and for resale to a select group of customers throughout the world for projects, maintaining strong relationships with brokers, auction houses and OEMs to find unique procurement opportunities and make project-specific acquisitions for both domestic and international customers.
