This was an important milestone for our company and we are committed to do everything needed to maintain our qualification. With the AS9100 Quality management system in effect we are perfectly positioned to be a preferred supplier to the Aerospace Industry. The AS9100 standard is designed to meet the most stringent, complex and specific demands of the defense and commercial Aerospace industry. We choose AS9100 over ISO 9001:2000 because its focus is specific to Aerospace and the additional 100 requirements impact and ensure product safety and reliability. PacificMetalsGroup has already seen many benefits from the implementation of this new Quality system, and we are committed to our continues improvement process (as dictated by our manual) which will allow us to ship defect free product on time, all the time. We have all the needed tools to perform detailed inspections. The list ranges from traditional callipers, gauges to the latest state of the art full automatic CMM.
