Pacific Northwest Publishing is an emerging educational publishing company initially formed around the acquisition of Dr. Randy Sprick's Safe & Civil Schools materials. We were delighted to acquire these materials because they exhibit the qualities we seek in our publications. Relying on over 25 years experience in behavior and classroom management, Dr. Sprick has designed a practical, user-friendly series written in an easy-to-read conversational style. In lieu of directives, he offers guidance and instruction, allowing users to tailor his procedures to their own particular situations. Furthermore, procedures and techniques promoted in the Safe & Civil Schools series are solidly grounded in research. Our goal, as an educational publishing house, is to continue to produce products like the Safe & Civil Schools series that assist educators to develop their own processes for school improvement-products that are of the highest quality, practical, user-friendly, and compatible with current research. We will carry on the Safe & Civil Schools principles by publishing and distributing materials that foster the ideal of improving schools with positive behavior support.
