The factory is based in Narni, in the heart of the Umbria region. The Paolini Group is located in an area of 13,000 square meters of factory space including 21,000 fully equipped work areas, where advanced technologies for design, manufacturing and logistics are recreating the ancient crafts traditions. Even today, the production is entrusted to the hands of ebony experts that give shape and value to every manufactured product - each one a unique piece with its own history, material and personal charm ready to be transferred to whoever is going to use it. Attention to every detail is Paolini's trademark. The Paolini Group owns other Italian Companies, each of them with a high specialisation in the ebony production process. The total workforce is 115 personnel. The Paolini Group has an on-site indoor technical lab with 11 highly-specialised staff. These architects, surveyors and designers build projects using 3D Software to plan and develop each customer order and and restore each item to it's original standard. The graphic design department is directly connected to the production centres to ensure the accuracy of the manufactured product. The designs contain all the information necessary for the realisation of every little detail. Barcodes applied to every component guarantees the traceability of the process. The timelines for planning and the control of each work phase ensure timely deliveries. The assembly specifications and the efficient site management ensure the total quality of it's products. Each job card contains all the necessary information for each component and supported by barcodes. This mechanism ensures the control and traceability throughout the entire process. The packaging and shipping assemblies are made with wooden boxes for delivery on site. Paolini also engages in "ready for use" projects. The daily work of our project managers is to be able to develop all the activities necessary for a contract such as: building design, plant and engineering work, administration and legal aspects with full compliance to the envisaged time schedules. The on-site activites are controlled by skilled Paolini workers who ensure the quality at this stage with the knowledge that the entire value chain of the project is in their hands and is capable of transforming from being like this to being like that. Technology and skilled hands are the heart of our production. Paolini looks after its customers image even during the early stage of building site and ensures that the importance of what is taking place is transmitted to the outside world. The Groove, subsidiary of the Paolini Group, is specialised in the manufacture of composite materials. The painting process and finishing "special touches" are carried out with the best technologies developed for a completely customised production. The use of laptops and scanners on-site allow the identification of combinations and individual components speeding the search for components during the assembly stage. The selection, maturation and storage of raw materials are the starting point for constant quality of the Paolini Group. Innovative machinery and large areas of production are the working tools of the ebony master craftsmen in accordance with process standards ISO 9001.
