Pelden Enterprise Ltd. (Formerly known as Bhutan Ferro Industries Ltd) was established in 2007 with the production capacity of 42MT of Ferrosilicon per day. It is located at Pasakha Industrial Estate, 15 KM from Phuentsholing, Bhutan in latitude 26.83, longitude 89.45. Plant has two Submerged Electric Arc furnaces of 9 MVA capacity each. Gas Cleaning Plant controls the pollution which makes our manufacturing process environmental friendly. Our main product Ferrosilicon is manufactured using principle raw materials like Quartz/Quartzite and Mill Scale/Scrap. The carbon source reducing agents in the form of charcoal, N.Coal, woodchips/bamboo chips, Low Ash Metallurgical Coke (LAMC) and other cokes are used for reduction of above ores. We export ferrosilicon of different sizes to India, beside export to countries like Germany, Netherland, Italy, Portugal, South Africa, Dubai and Singapore. High grade microsilica is also sold here.
