Penelope Mimetics

Penelope Mimetics develops and sells braided technical textiles as well as air-laid, needle bonded non-woven textiles produced from new and recycled fibers. In collaboration with our partners, we develop environmentally-friendly and sustainably-sourced automotive fabrics, geosynthetics, absorbants, insulating fabrics and filter media. In the broader context, Penelope Mimetics also provides a research and development infrastructure that assists brands in the transition to and development of new manufacturing processes in synthetic biology. We provide consulting and co-development services for new technologies in functionalized biosynthetic polymers, additives and treatments that use green chemistries.
