PennFab was started in July of 1983 by Michael J. Mabin who had $2,500 to his name and a wife and three small children. With a goal to build a company that he could be proud of, a company that would provide employment for his generation and the generation to follow, Mike set out with very little money and a lot of determination. He is still doing that and recently was joined by his son, Michael, Jr. Other Mabins include a third generation Mabin along with a group of outstanding employees. PennFab has been built on relationships; these relationships are built on trust, performance and commitment. We do not fly by the seat of our pants and we will not take chances with your future or ours. We will do our job and we will do it right, on every job large or small every time and that you can count on. We are the "Go To" fabricators for many of the leading manufacturing, transportation and engineering firms. Why? Because we don't give our customers what they expect, we give them more. At PennFab, we understand that our job is to supply our products and services on a consistent, reliable and competitive basis; complacency is not in our vocabulary. We exercise due diligence to safeguard against the unknown by working with your engineering staff, training our personnel, using only those materials that are specified, documenting our processes and procedures and striving for the highest quality and reliability. As we enter our 26th year, we employ approximately 26 people in our 30,000 Sq Ft modern, Bensalem, PA Custom Metal Fabrication Facility. Our team includes a Lead Licensed Professional Engineer, a Mechanical Engineer and an Electrical Engineer as well as other Engineering and Administrative personnel. In addition to having collectively over 120 years of hands on experience, our engineering and administrative staff is either members of, or associated with, the AISC, NSBA, ASME, ASTM, ASM, and AWS. We design and/or detail our fabrications utilizing both AutoCAD and SolidWorks (3D Modeling). Our manufacturing facility is staffed by highly skilled and motivated mechanics who take great pride in being among the best in the industry.
