Penrhos College is a Uniting Church day and boarding school for girls, Kindergarten to Year 12 located on beautiful grounds in Como. Our purpose is to 'Inspire girls to become extraordinary women'. We are seeking a highly experienced teacher to teach English across Years 7 to 12 in the Secondary School. You will be required to teach a number of classes from Year 7 to Year 12 which will be specified at a later date. The following criteria is essential for this position: A Bachelor of Education or a degree qualification supported by a Post Graduate Diploma of Education Current WACOT Membership including a Working With Children card (WWC) Significant demonstrated excellence in teaching Secondary School English Excellent understanding of the Curriculum Ability to integrate technology into teaching strategies Experience in teaching English Literature is desirable As part of our Strategic direction, we aim to provide our girls with 'Inspirational Student Experiences' where our students are at the centre of all we do.
