So when Wildwash shampoo came along with their natural credentials we had to take it on. WildWash shampoo for dogs and cats is made in the UK, from 100% pure essential oils. Essential oils are the fragrant highly concentrated natural constituent of plants; that give the plant its definitive scent and healing properties. Often when talking to our customer about shampoos for their Dogs and Cats they mention they use a baby shampoo, mistakenly thinking this being gentle for baby's will be a suitable option. When we explain that human skin and hair has a pH range of between 5.2 - 6.2 leaning on the acidic side and a Dog and Cat skin and hair pH range is between 5.5 - 7.5 but tending to lean towards the more alkaline end of the spectrum. Baby shampoo lies at approximately 4.8 - 5.8 and can disrupt the acid mantle of your dogs coat and therefore create an environment where bacteria, parasites and virus can erupt. Once we have explained this our customers they are more able to make a better choice for their pets coat. We do stock a range of Dog and Cat shampoos but the Wildwash id one of our most natural shampoos. Wildwash was develop in the UK, spurred from the need for a natural shampoo range that was both kind to pets and on human grooming hands. The mixture of plants, botanicals and essential oils, created by Wildwash, makes a unique blend of fragrances which smell gorgeous and last on your pet. They contain NO Parabens, Phthalates, Phosphates, Sulfates, Petrochemicals, Synthetic or Semi Synthetic Fragrances or PEG's and to add to this they are cruelty free. The company is very proud that these products are still hand blended and hand stirred in England, UK. There have been a number of testimonials from groomers whose hands have become dry, cracked and sore, through constant grooming with other products and once they have used Wildwash for a period their symptoms improve. Because of the shampoos natural concentrations you require very little to shampoo your dog, for a small dog just 20ml is sufficient and for a large dog 30ml mixed with 1 litre of lukewarm water. Wet you dog all over and work in your 1 litre mixture; your dog will be smelling sweet before you know it. This shampoo fragrance does not disappear within a few days but can last for weeks on your dogs coat.
