Founded in 1987 and headquartered in Richmond Virginia. Performance Food Group Company is the parent company of a family of food service distributors, Performance Foodservice, Vistar and PFG Customized Distribution. Through these three segments, it delivers national and proprietary branded food and food-related products to independent and national chain restaurants, quick-service eateries, pizzerias, theaters, schools, hotels, healthcare facilities and other institutions via its distribution centers and Merchant's Mart locations across the United States. Performance Food Group builds analytics capabilities in-house. Performance Food Group currently operates a hybrid cloud model and leverages multiple software as a service (SaaS) providers.
